Hey there! I'm Dawn - the lady behind the name. I'm a designer living in historic Concord, NC with my high school sweetheart turned hubby and our two blue-eyed kiddos.

I fell in love with design because of high school yearbook. I have had a thing for fonts, fun patterns, inspiring colors, and creative layouts since middle school. Today, my affinity for these things has only grown and I love to incorporate them into what I create today.

I started Dawn Lockavitch Designs in 2007 after I graduated from Meredith College as a creative outlet with the hope of one day taking it full-time. After ten years in the corporate design world, I was able to take this creative studio full-time at the end of 2018.
